Great cole slaw, decent coffee. Outstanding service. Recommend outside if weather permitting or near windows since right on the lake. Definitely crowded and loud, so not easy for those hard of hearing or for a cozy or romantic event

Great food, atmosphere, and staff. We have been there several times. Had a great experience each and every time. More food than we can eat. Always take some home..

Our server, Sarah, was Great! She kept our tea and water filled and checked on us often. The food was especially slow from the kitchen with only about a dozen tables, mostly 2-4 people at each table, and it was 6:30 on a Tuesday evening. Our party was 4 people. We did love our meals and the food was hot when delivered. The prices were comparable to any good, country style restaurant. We will be back.

much better service than 4 months ago, wait staff is fast, and food is delicious! Great variety of sides, my favorites are okra and onion rings.

the food was great! their were no worries about that, but me and my family’s waitress was absolutely HORRIBLE. her name was tiffany. she was very disrespectful, kept touching our food, she tried rushing us out, and kept saying rude comments towards us. i have a bad feeling she was on drugs by the way she was acting. the next time i go to mesquite pit with my family we will be specifically asking to not have her as our waitress.

We had a party of 15 and the service was great! Our waitress, Sarah, was very friendly and took care of everything. We were here for a birthday and it was a blast. The ribs were tasty and the food was hot and fresh. I will definitely be returning here the next time we're in town!

Great location and atmosphere, but very poor service and food. The only thing we did like was the sampler appetizer (onion rings, texas toothpicks,fried pickles). The kids enjoyed their meals (chicken tenders/hamburger and fries). We did not like our fish nor the sides unfortunately. I was really hoping for better.

Delicious southern food. So glad we stopped in! Very reasonably priced and a great atmosphere.

Great Steak. I had a Ribeye. My wife had the Fillet. They were delicious. We both had the grilled veggie skewers, very tasty. We had a salad and split the fries which were hand cut. Our server was super nice and very good. Highly recommend. We will be back.

I dine in this lovely spot often! This is my favorite spot to pass a nice evening. I go there frequently. The food is excellent, the crew is professional and the rates are reasonable. I enjoy meeting in this spot over a nice meal.

It can be good, but uneven. Once in a small group of 10, my brisket was dried out so much it was unappetizing or eatable. The wait staff never came around after the food was served. So when we left I explained why I hadn't eaten my food, only a couple of appetizers. They did make it right, but it shouldn't have been served and I had to eat what I could driving back to my office. The bbq sauce is merely okay.

Waitress was very Curt and short because she was serving the whole room. I never saw her smile once. Food was very good. Waitstaff needs more training to handle stress.

Atmosphere is good, nice place off lake. Now the service stunk as we had several waitresses serving us and they had no idea what we ordered and what our drinks were. The BBQ my husband and I had we were not impressed by, sliced brisket was dry and we tried all the meats between us and we have had better. The sampler appetizer we had was good. It was chicken fried bacon, fried mushrooms, and armadillo eggs. For the price of the food i expected better service and food. Not sure we will give this placed another try.

Love this mesquite Pit. Service is always good, the food is perfectly cooked and the atmosphere is great. We have a wonderful dinner here every time!

Steak was good not great. $ 35.00 for 16 oz with 2 sides. Everyone had the same thing, and everyone said they were not impressed. Had a great side salad and the queso was perfect. Dinner rolls were hot and soft. Mmmm good. Although we had to ask for butter for them. Now back to the steaks. They were really flavorful and cooked to perfection. They were a little bit tough. The wait staff was very good. A little slow at times but we could see she was busy and trying to do her best. Would I go back? Don't know as of yet. But I don't think so .

The Chicken Fried Steak was excellent and the 2 for $20 deal is hard to turn down.

Mesquite grilled pork chop is a pretty good selection but I truly don't find anything particularly special about this place.

I adore this place very much. theres a very nice spirit. The cuisine is marvelous. the service is efficient and the stuff is friendly. The pay is modest. truly recommend.

Had the sliced brisket sandwich. The brisket tasted a bit bland and it was dry. The staff was really nice and the fried pickles and fried green tomatoes were really good. Really nice atmosphere and good for big families.

This is fine dinning by the lake. took our friends here one night, the waitress even took our picture, it was awesome to sit outside by lhe lake and just have fun

Excellent steak! Sides were tasty, the blooming onion and armadillo eggs, knocked it right out of the park! Server knew menu well and was top notch.

This place is great. We came on a Saturday night around 6pm, with a party of nine. We were in town for a track meet and saw all the cars so we figured it would be good. They were able to seat us in less than 10 minutes and it was a packed house. The food was good and a wide variety for all involved. The only down side, which is the reason for the 4 stars involves two things. We ordered drinks upon seating. They arrived in old fashioned glasses that were 3/4 to 1 inch below the the rim. I thought not cool but maybe a low mix on this round. The next round was the same. They should fill it up on my opinion. The glass is not that large to start with. Second they only had whipped spread no butter. With steaks and chops as good as what we had it is a shame not to offer real butter. Otherwise thanks for a great meal. We are planning our return.

An email asking people to go dine out during this pandemic? The marketing here is beyond shameful. Taking advantage of this situation and praising people for coming out to eat in the restaurant - offering a discount to do so - is pathetic. Texans are stubborn - like this email says, but that doesn't mean they're stupid enough to be fooled into risking each others health and safety for some regular food. Learn the time and place for pandering. Lost my family's business over this.

This place was amazing. Large portions and awesome dessert. Price was more than fair. A must eat when visiting Granbury.

Nice spot for BBQ. We drove an hour to come here for lunch and see the Grandbury Square. I had the grilled chicken breast with the baked potato and salad. I feel like the chicken was too plain but it was well cooked so i still ate it. The portions were good. I was disappointed with their Margarita, it was too sweet. Tasted more like a lemonade. Our server was great! She still kept a good attitude even when we decided to be seated outside. Will give this place another try.

Excellent service! Veteran friendly and Veteran Spouse friendly. Came here to celebrate Veterans Day 2019 with my wife and son. They compensated my meal and my wife’s was half off. They had great service. Professional, clean, and very flavorful as well. Great views of lake Granbury as well. Plenty of parking. Close to downtown square.

This is the most bland Barbeque I’ve ever had. I get having a limited menu and running out of some items for arriving near closing time. But it took 45 minutes to get out food. And the brisket was dry, the ribs were not seasoned. All they did was add barbecue sauce on top of it. The green beans had no salt. The bread we had was greasy. Like this place is terrible. I don’t get how it has soo many good reviews. I will never recommend this place. The staff is nice. But the food is absolutely trash. The potato salad was decent but I feel it was premade. I see they advertise best Margarita in Hood county but I don’t know how much I trust that. Maybe it’s great compared to the bland food they sell.

Food's good, but am taking a star off because you cant get real butter for a potato or honey for hot tea. Margarine doesn't taste right, doesn't melt, and is bad for you. Yes this matters to me enough to remove a star.

Nice place on the lake. Reasonable prices. Consistent quality. The pork chops are awesome the hamburger with brisket Smoke House is incredible. But the 1/3 lb Burger is disappointing. I like a fat juicy medium-rare Burger & this was flat and overcooked

The place was nice and somewhat intimate. It was a little hard to decide what to eat.... They do have a pretty heavy menu. And by that I mean hearty. I had to stick to a side salad so I could try a few of the brews they had on tap. The bartender was very sweet and helpful.

One of my favorite places to go in Grandburry. Whether we are on the boat and pull up or drive in were always welcome and everyone is always friendly. The beer is always cold and the pitcher of 1800 margarita is a great choice. We have had alot of the food on the menu and couldn't tell you my favorite cause they have always been good but a strong first 3 choices are 1" ribeye, brisket, or ribs. All the seafood and else is amazing as well. If you've never been you have to try it out. Amazing place with a great environment!

Delicious smoked ribs and brisket! The cowboy beans were average and cole slaw a bit dry. My wife really enjoyed the chicken fried steak and baked potato. Our appetizer sampler was also fantastic. Our server was outstanding! This was a wonderful dining experience.

Food and service are pretty good here! When the weather is nice we like the patio out back to see the ducks on the lake. Never had anything but a great time.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Overlooking the lake. Very nice inside and great service. We went for lunch. Great vibe. Voted best margaritas in Granbury. The bar is beautiful and the decor very charming. Lots of parking.

We had a group of almost 50 people on a short notice.. they were very accommodating, great service, great food and very reasonable prices...definitely going back...

Samantha our server is the best. Like last time she took primo care of us and the service was outstanding. Two for two for the food being really good and this time we requested Samantha and she is a constant with personality, professionalism and smiles. She did not disappoint.. Thank you, Samantha excellent job you made our day.

Mediocre across the board. The people were nice, but the service was slow. They pre-slice already dry brisket. Mashed potatoes tasted like they had water in them. And the bugs! They have no concept of deterring bugs from the patio in the evenings. Poor beer and drink selection. I really wanted this place to be great.
